Website Tools – How to Create and Manage Website Colors with the ColorPic Tool

ColorPic Tool by iconico.com is a great color scheme creator tool, as well as a website management tool.

You simply download the tool, name a new pallet and point and click to pick up colors from just about anywhere.
The video demonstrates how easy it is to use. The only tricky part is that you need to click on an empty square
and then just hover on the color you want to pick up – DON’T CLICK ON IT! This is where your intuition works against you.

When I first started to use the tool, it drove me crazy because I had it in my head that you would click on the empty box and then click on the color you wanted to capture. No, you only click on the empty box where you want to store the color and you hover on the chosen color and then press control-g.

Once you get the hang of it, it’s easy to create a full website pallet in a few minutes.
